【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforthiefresistantmechanicallyoperatedsingle-pointlockassemblies(includinglockingplates,fixingscrews,fittinginstructionsandcylinderswhereappropriate)that:a)incorporatelocksconformingtoBSEN12209fieldofdoorapplicationgradesK.L.M.N.R.SandT.i.e.locksthatcanbelockedfrombothsideswithakeytherebyonlyallowingkeyegress:andb)areusedindoors,windowdoorsandentrancedoorsinbuildings.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthiefresistantlockassembliesthatprovidekeylessegress,i.e.lockassembliesthatcanalwaysbeunlockedfromtheinsidewithouttheneedforakey.NOTE1Thiefresistantlockassembliesthatprovidekeylessegressarespecifiedinaseparatestandard.BS8621.becausetheyaresufficientlydifferentintermsofwhattheyofferformeansofescape(fromfire)andsecurity.NOTE2Itispossiblethatlockassembliesconformingtothisstandardarenotsuitableforuseondoorsconstructedfromcertaintypesofmaterial,e.g.plasticoraluminium.Themarkingonthepackagingofthelockassemblywillprovidethisinformationinaccordancewith7.2.
