【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversa100%middledistillatefueloilwithnoresidualfueloilcontaminationforuseinmilitarymarineapplications(non-aviationgasturbineengines,compressionignition/dieselengines,andothernon-automotiveapplications),andemergencygeneratorapplications(militaryorcommercial).Thisspecification,unlessotherwiseprovidedbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,prescribestherequiredpropertiesofmiddledistillatefuelatthetimeandplaceofdelivery.Nothinginthisspecificationshallprecludeobservanceoffederal,state,orlocalregulationsthatmaybemorerestrictive.Duringhandlinganduseofallmiddledistillatefuels,thegenerationanddissipationofstaticelectricitycancreatefireandexplosionhazards.FormoreinformationonthissubjectseeGuideD4865.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
