【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61482specifiestestmethodstomeasurethearcthermalperformancevalueofmaterialsintendedforuseinheat-andflame-resistantclothingforworkersexposedtothethermaleffectsofelectricarcsandthefunctionofgarmentsusingthesematerials.Thesetestmethodsmeasurethearcthermalperformancevalueofmaterialswhichmeetthefollowingrequirements:lessthan100mmcharlengthandlessthan2safterflameafterremovalfromflame,whentestedinaccordancewithISO15025,procedureB(bottom-edgeignition)ontheoutermaterial,andthecharlengthmeasuredusingamodifiedISOmethodasdescribedinAnnexA.Thesemethodsareusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,assembliesorgarments,inresponsetoconvectiveandradiantenergygeneratedbyanelectricarcinopenairundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.ThematerialsusedinthesemethodsareintheformofflatspecimensformethodAandgarmentsformethodB.MethodAisusedtodeterminethearcratingofmaterialsandmaterialassemblieswhentestedinaflatconfiguration.MethodBisusedtomeasuregarmentresponse,notarcrating,toanarcexposureincludingallthegarmentfindings,sewingthread,fastenings,fabricsandotheraccessorieswhentestedonamalemannequintorso.MethodBisalsousedforaccidentreplication.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispartofIEC61482toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticespriortouse.Forspecificprecautions,seeClause7.ThetestmethodsinthispartofIEC61482arenotdirectedtoclassifybyprotectionclasses.MethodsdeterminingprotectionclassesareprescribedinIEC61482-1-2.
