【摘要】:Therequirementsinthisstandardcoversealedwireconnectorsystems,includinginsulatingcaps,covers,resins,tubing,andtapesprovidedwith,orforusewith,specificwireconnectors.Thesesystemsareintendedforwetordamplocations,andotherinstallationssuchasdirectburial,belowgrade,orabovegradewhereprotectedfromdirectexposuretosunlight.Thewireconnectorscoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedforusewithcopperconductor,aluminumconductor,orbothinaccordancewithinstallationscoveredbytheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70;theCanadianElectricalCode,PartI,C22.1;andNOM001SEDE,StandardforElectricalInstallations.Thesewireconnectorsystemshavenotbeenevaluatedfordirectexposuretosunlight.AdditionalperformanceconsiderationstoshowequivalencytotheconnectedconductorsshouldbeconsideredforUVexposure.Thesewireconnectorsystemsmayalsobeusedindoors.1.2Theserequirementsalsocoversealedwireconnectorsystemsintendedforusewithsingleormultipleconductorundergroundfeedercable,golfcoursesprinklercable,undergroundlowenergycable,irrigationcable,orothercablewithinsulationacceptablefordirectburial,belowgradeuse,orwetlocations.1.3Theserequirementsapplytosealedwireconnectorsystemsintendedforusewith30AWG(0.05mm2)through2000kcmil(1012mm2)conductorswithcurrentsnotexceedingtheampacityofinsulatedconductorsratedeither75鳦(167鳩)or90鳦(194鳩)andintendedforuseat600Vorless.1.4ForproductsintendedforuseinCanada,generalrequirementsaregiveninCAN/CSA-C22.2No.0.
