【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetimerequiredforwatertopassthroughaspecimenofpaper.Itisbasedonthedry-indicatormethodofCarson(1-4)andmodificationsofitdevelopedbyAbrams(5)andCodwise(6-8).Itisdesignedforusewithmaterialsthatrequirearelativelyshorttimetotest(uptoapproximately30s),andhasbeenfoundusefulintestingslack-sizedpapers.Note1-Fortestinghard-sizedpaperandpaperboard,seeTAPPITestMethodT441.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
